LaunchWell™ College Readiness

The LaunchWell™ program is an online self-study course developed from a decade of research and direct service with young adults, revealing significant numbers of students challenged with stress, anxiety, and depression due to a lack of preparation and readiness for the heightened independence and responsibilities met in college.

The self-paced program takes approximately three hours to complete and provides evidence-based skills and strategies to help students make the transition to college with enhanced mental health, academic success, and overall well-being. Modules equip students with necessary tools to navigate the academic, self-care, and social challenges of college life effectively.

Core Skills Taught:

    • Goal-Directed Behaviors: Strategies to set and achieve personal and academic goals.
    • Stress and Emotion Management: Techniques to reduce anxiety and handle difficult emotions.
    • Independent Learning: Development of self-directed study habits and improved attention.
    • Problem-Solving and Communication: Enhancement of critical thinking and effective communication skills.
    • Social Connections: Guidance on making rewarding friendships and managing conflicts.
    • Self-Care Practices: Establishment of routines that promote physical and mental health.
