LaunchWell™ College Readiness for Students

LaunchWell™ is a distinctive approach to college readiness and mental health prevention, shaped by more than twenty years of clinical work alongside adolescents and young adults. Through this work, a clear pattern emerged: many students arrive at college academically capable, yet emotionally underprepared for the sudden weight of independence, self-management, and unstructured responsibility. The result is often rising stress, anxiety, disconnection, and a quiet erosion of confidence.
LaunchWell™ was developed to intervene earlier, offering practical, evidence-informed tools that support emotional resilience, executive functioning, self-care, and relational navigation during this critical transition. Rather than responding to crisis, the model focuses on preparation, capacity-building, and prevention, helping students enter college with greater clarity, stability, and self-trust.
College Readiness for Students Core Skills:

- Independent Learning: Development of self-directed study habits and improved attention.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Enhancement of critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Social Connections: Guidance on making rewarding friendships and managing conflicts.
