Meet Tabitha Raskin

Tabitha is pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at New York University. Her prior work as a middle school teacher shaped her passion helping clients discover their strengths, learn and grow. Tabitha brings to MCA a thoughtful, compassionate approach to counseling that supports both immediate progress and long-term well-being.

Tabitha is passionate about working with teens, young adults, and adults in individual, group, and family therapy. Her clinical interests include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She draws from psychodynamic, attachment, multicultural/feminist, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) frameworks, while integrating trauma-informed care and LGBTQ+ affirming practices.

Through MCA’s Reduced Fee Counseling Program, Tabitha offers affordable, high-quality therapy in Bethesda and online. She combines evidence-based interventions with psychoeducation and holistic wellness, creating a collaborative space where clients feel supported to explore identity, build resilience, and pursue lasting personal growth.

Meet Rachaelle (Cha-Cha) King 

Rachaelle (Cha-Cha) is completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland School of Social Work.  With an emphasis on research based methods, she brings a rare combination of clinical training, research experience, and holistic mind–body approaches to her work with clients at Metropolitan Counseling Associates.

Cha-Cha has extensive experience working in inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, residential rehabilitation, and on crisis intervention hotlines.  She is a certified yoga instructor and breath-work facilitator.  Her ability to integrate mindfulness, body-based practices, and nervous system regulation into her work makes her an especially strong resource for clients coping with trauma and stress-related conditions.

Her clinical interests include trauma-informed care, DBT, executive function coaching, and integrative wellness. Through MCA’s Reduced Fee Counseling Program, Cha-Cha provides affordable, evidence-based therapy in Bethesda and online. She is committed to helping clients manage stress, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions while building resilience and long-term well-being.
